Mr. Usman said that, they are both of the same age from the same father but from separate mothers and living in their family compound with their parents and their wives.
On that day,Yusuf asked Salihu to put his sheep under control, as he accused him of releasing them in the night to destroy farm produce in the community. This led to a serious argument but it was settled by some elders.
Moroever, the argument resurfaced after sunset when most of the men were in the mosque. Salihu then stabbed Yusuf with a knife on the neck which resulted in his death. Salihu fled the community but reappeared two days later.
The police arrived and took him into their custody,MACBAN secretary stated.
