According to the operatives of Operation Zenda, a special unit of the Benue State Police Command, have reportedly arrested more than ten suspected kidnappers that have been terrorizing Makurdi Otupko/ Enugu Expressway.
The suspects were apprehended by the Benue state police command.
The suspects confessed to the police that they have kidnapped more twenty innocent Nigerians in recent time.
One of the suspect identified as Fabian Nyamhena told News men that they usually go to neighbouring states to recruit other members of the gang and procure arm and ammunitions for them.
We went and recruited other gang members from neighbouring states and bought arms and ammunitions for them, which we use to terrorise Makurdi Otupko/ Enugu Expressway.
He further stated that four members of his gang were killed while they were confronting the police.
The police operatives have encountered our gang members and killed over four gang members. the suspect confessed.
