Senator Shehu Sani react to FG directive of CCTV installation, demand explanation of $470 million Abuja CCTV contract.

Senator Shehu Sani, has dragged the federal government for telling Nigerians to install CCTV in their homes, recalling that the federal government hasn’t explained what happened to the $470 million failed Abuja CCTV contract.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a tweet he made earlier today on his verified twitter handle.

The former lawmaker wrote: The FG is yet to explain the $470 million failed contract, and now advising people to install CCTV in their homes.

It should be recalled that the federal government allegedly paid million of dollars to contractors to install CCTV camera in Abuja, but uptill now, the CCTV cameras were not installed and the money was not accounted for.

On the other hand, it is still important for people to install CCTV camera in their homes for security reasons. Let us try and do the right thing always for out own benefit.
