The General Secretary of the APC Northern Christians Forum, Lukas Bako called on Christians to boycott APC’s campaigns.
Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja on Sunday, Bako stated that the forum rejects the Muslim-Muslim ticket by APC. He urged Christians in the Presidential Campaign Council of the party to resign honorably.
Bako claimed that APC has failed in its mission to produce the next president by settling for a Muslim-Muslim ticket despite condemnation from Nigerians.
In his words, Bako said: We urge all Christians in the APC’s PCC to honorably resign and join us in our fight for justice.
We will not commence campaigns until Shettima is replaced with a Christian.
We urge the party leadership to do the needful and come to terms with the reality that Northern Christians are notable stakeholders in the party.
Bako explained that their fight is for the good of the country.
